Abstract

This paper takes an in-depth look at the extremist tendencies spreading in the contemporary era and analyzes how different interpretations of religious texts support or oppose these ideas. The author highlights how extremist groups interpret religious texts according to their economic and political ideologies, often adopting a fundamentalist or literal perspective. The research also clarifies how incorrect and misleading religious interpretations can lead to economic injustice and social unrest. Additionally, the paper explores how moderate and enlightened religious scholarship can be used to counter extremist narratives and promote economic justice in line with the teachings of religious texts. This paper addresses the details of contemporary extremist trends and investigates how various interpretations of religious texts support or oppose these ideologies. The author sheds light on how extremist groups interpret religious texts according to their economic and political views, often adopting a fundamentalist or literal approach.
