Abstract

The existing banking system is based on interest, posing challenges, and emphasizing the need for Islamic banking in accordance with Islamic principles for the improvement of the economic system. It is crucial to discuss this issue, and it is necessary to promote Islamic principles and teachings to address societal challenges. We should instill Islamic principles in our identity, families, and social circles, and actively implement them. Muslims should commit to paying Zakat and voluntary alms (Sadaqat), and governments as well as non-governmental organizations should assist in their proper utilization. Through the promotion and dissemination of Islamic teachings, Muslims should take their personal responsibilities seriously. Properly fulfilling Zakat and voluntary alms, reaching the deserving recipients, and providing support for their economic progress are crucial. By adhering to these principles and putting them into practice, we can take steps towards societal improvement and make the Islamic economic system more effective.
