Abstract

Observation proves that the natural tendency of man is towards tales and stories. Prophets, saints,  scholars and public have been attributed to tales and stories, and they continued preaching and advicing the public by tales and stories along with other arguments. Even the Quranic manners belongs to tales and stories. Stories of Quran and Ahadith provide education, quay and counseling along with historic, cultural and preaching discustions including the story of Hazrat Musa and Hazrat Khidhar. Quran and Ahadith have discussed this story. Musnad e Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan e Tirmizi, Sahih Ibn e Habban and other books of Ahadith including their Commentries also have elaborated this story, highlighting the importance of this story.Though the mentioned story is very famous, but public is unaware from historic, cultural and preaching discusions of this story. In addition  deep studies show the aspects of mentioned story having greater effectiveness than certain other orders and prohibbtions. There is need to bring these discussions into the public so that they can get advantages.
