Abstract

The Holy Quran, the universal word of Allah, exemplifies unparalleled justice and equality. Our beliefs are grounded in the Quran and Hadith, making it crucial to evaluate all thoughts and actions according to these sources. Despite the Quran's and Hadith's superiority over human concepts, Western attempts have aimed to erode Muslim trust in these texts. Muslim women today are increasingly drawn to Western feminism, often disregarding their own perspectives. This shift is driven by the West's rejection of traditional interpretations and the push for feminist re-interpretations of the Quran. This has led to ideological conflicts in Muslim societies, benefiting non-Muslims. Modern Muslim women linked to feminism challenge existing religious concepts, seeking social change and contemporary validation within Islamic teachings. Muslim feminist Amna Wadud advocates for feminist perspectives through the Quran, and this discussion critically evaluates her views on inheritance and testimony in the Islamic context.
